What is SurePost?
UPS SurePost | The Economy Ground Service
What is UPS SurePost exactly?
UPS SurePost is an economy service for non-urgent, residential shipments. UPS makes the pick-up and transports to the nearest U.S. Postal Service® (USPS) Service Hub to the destination address. USPS makes the final delivery, Monday through Saturday, anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, including P.O. Boxes and military APO/FPO destinations. UPS SurePost is an option for shipments of 9 pounds or less, with expected transit times between 2-7 days. Currently, UPS SurePost is not available for international packages. This shipping hybrid may be one of the most low-cost options on the market, however, UPS cannot promise a time and date of delivery and has lesser liability in the case of lost or damaged shipments due to the shared involvement with USPS in the shipping logistics.
