My customer received a notification from UPS about their shipment, can I edit/disable that notification?
If your customer/recipient is signed up for UPS My Choice, they may receive a notification about their shipment(s) once you purchase/generate a label with their email address automatically. The notification may state that the package is being shipped by ShipFare. Unfortunately, because this notification is coming directly from UPS, we cannot edit or disable that notification in any way.
The notification is triggered as soon as you pay for a shipment and create a label with the customer's e-mail address included (assuming that particular customer's e-mail is signed up with UPS My Choice). One way to control when the notification is being sent is to wait until you are ready to ship the package before purchasing/generating a label in order to set the customers receiving expectations accordingly.
